About the role
The Chief of Staff is the founders' force multiplier. You will take ownership of everything that is not research or engineering, and much of what makes those teams effective: recruiting pipelines, company operations, fundraising support, partnerships, and internal communication. This is a role for someone who wants to learn how to build a company from the inside and eventually run one.
What you will do
- Run hiring end to end, from sourcing to closing, and build the processes behind it.
- Own company operations: finance, legal, vendors, office, and people.
- Prepare materials for investors, partners, and the board.
- Drive cross-functional projects and make sure decisions get made and followed through.
- Be the first person to pick up anything that falls between the cracks.
What we are looking for
- 3 or more years in a high-performance environment: early-stage startups, consulting, banking, or an operating role at a fast-growing company.
- Exceptional organization and follow-through.
- Strong writing. Much of this job is communication.
- Comfort with technical teams and technical subject matter.
- Low ego, high ownership.
